About the Speakers
James DeLuccia, a recognized expert on risk management, security technology, corporate governance and compliance, provides assurance and advisory services to companies worldwide. DeLuccia enables organizations to leverage information, technology, and control environments to create competitive advantage and optimize business performance. His experience spans domestic, international, industry mandates and practices that include PCI, SOX, HIPAA, EU Safe Harbor requirements and U.S. privacy breach laws.
DeLuccia recently architected the international credit security standard and regularly contributes to the PCI body of knowledge. A frequent industry speaker, he is certified as a CIA, CISA, CISSP and QDSP (VISA). His new book, IT Compliance and Controls: Best Practices for Implementation, will be released in March 2008. DeLuccia is also a contributor to vmSight's blog.
Warren Ponder, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at VMware, works as part of the Enterprise Desktop product marketing and management team developing alternative approaches to traditional desktop architectures and solutions. His activities include speaking at events as well as developing white papers and technical content focused on Thin Client computing, Windows Interoperability and Virtual Desktop solutions that leverage the benefits of VMware's leading virtualization technologies.
